A suggested topic is whether you believe IQ testing (for job applications) should be allowed.

Well, i feel that at the moment, IQ tests are generally a good gauge of intelligence, or ability to learn. Not in differences of a few points, but it's pretty obvious who has the IQ of 40 and the IQ of 200.

So, while IQ does posess a gague of intelligence, it is not to say very accurate, nor is it the most inportant in a job. IQ affects personality (which many claim to be the most important asset), sure, but not to a very large extent. Personality, i feel, is the most important. After all, it still is possible for people to have high IQ and bad social skills. Savants, who are incredibly gifted in some way but usually lack in social skills, what about them?

I feel that sure, do whatever IQ tests you want, employees, but bear in mind that a worker is more than just a subject in a class designated by IQ.

1st session.

I think the psychoanalytic way seems to make sense, after all, I'm also studying Freud in another DMP topic.
I like the idea of unconcscioiousness confliting with social restraints, the formation of the egos and the Id. Afterall, when one looks at a baby you can't help but wonder where all that screaming, fighting, "i-couldn't-care-less-how-irritating-i-am" approach to getting what he wants goes in the future. Certianly, Secondary school students have long since done more appropriate things like asking parents (more gently), or school appeals, or whatever.

It addresses the change in personalities the best out of the other perspectives, from what I know. For example, it best explains the behavior of a child at birth, then again at teenager-age, through a case of balance between the restrictions and base instincts of the mind. Trait seems to imply that a personality will be set throughout a life, and that does not seem to be the case. the Social and Humanistic approaches also have a problem with birth, for it leads one to ask: with no previous experiences to draw on, why do babies have such different temperaments?

But maybe it's all just because I have studied Freud more, so i can better understand his theories and how they would be able to explain some stuff.

Excitable nutball, flinger of juvinility. (:

The ENFJs optimistic outlook toward social relationships is a burden to them at times.

When external conflicts affect a group, the ENFJ is likely to assume responsibility.

Their ability to empathize then turns into a liability.

ENFJs, when over-identifying with the pain of others, will loose sight of their own concerns and interests.

Their idealism can also be the cause of some distress when their assumptions are unable to weather the winds of reality.
Fantasized relationships rarely translate into reality and even the best charismatic leader encounters unexpected resistance.

Like all NFs, ENFJs will disassociate themselves from stressful situations in an effort to protect their sense of well-being and togetherness.
The ENFJ, however, will repress the unpleasant side of life only to have to face it later in an intensified form when it explodes from its hiding place.

It can manifest itself as fits of anger, sudden outbursts, or emotional explosions. Often the ENFJ's body will reflect pent-up stress by manifesting various physical symptoms that will erupt unexpectedly.

Careers

This lists represent careers and jobs people of your type tend to enjoy doing.

The job requirements are similar to the personality tendencies of your personality type.

It is important to remember that this is not a list of all the jobs possible. And it is very important to remember that people can, and frequently do, fill jobs that are dissimilar to their personality... this happens all the time...and sometimes works out quite well.
